Now
that I had my planks of plywood pressed together they were ready to be cut into
the shape of a board. I traced my paper pattern onto the wood and began to cut
with my borrowed handheld jigsaw. I knew that the closer to the pattern that I
cut, the less sanding that I would have to do so I was sure to cut slowly and
accurately. Because the first board that I pressed did not come together as
nicely as I hoped, I ended up cutting out two boards. One that I ultimately
used as my tester and the other for the final project.
